Snakeman is the superhero protector of Harlem City and Chicago, a man dressed like a snake who fights against evil and strikes terror into the hearts of criminals everywhere. In his secret identity he is Scott Wilson, billionaire industrialist and notorious playboy. Although he has no superhuman powers, he is one of the world's smartest men and greatest fighters. His physical prowess and technical ingenuity make him an incredibly dangerous opponent. He is also a member of the Liberty Legion.
When Scott was a kid, he sustained serious injuries from Tony Baskin, the neighborhood bully. He was beaten with a bat until he was unconscious, waking up a week later with no memory of what happened. Tony Baskin Sr. was fired from Wilson Enterprises after security footage from the back of the Wilson Manner was found of Baskin Jr. beating Scott with the baseball bat.
Tony Baskin Sr. in a spurt of revenge sought after Scott's parents, and later shot them, killing them on the scene. Scott was abducted and later thrown into an inescapable pit in the earth, and everyone thought he was missing. This pit was filled with incredibly venomous snakes, of which Scott later tamed. Scott eventually escaped the pit, where he then returned home and took over Wilson Enterprises from his butler Norman, who had been left with the company after the death of his parents and the vanishing of Scott himself.
Scott hunted down Tony Baskin Sr. with the intent to kill him, but later had a change of heart for various life changing reasons.Years later, Scott used his money to train and become the ultimate fighter, and to develop a suit that would protect him from harm. He then embraced his experience with snakes, and embroidered a snake head symbol on his suit, taking the name Snakeman.
